Miami-Dade County announces application process for Hospitality Industry Grants

On August 4th, Miami-Dade County announced the application process for their Hospitality Industry Grants that will award thirty-million dollars ($30,000,000.00) to local Miami-Dade hospitality industry members like you.

This press release explains eligibility requirements and provides links to an explanation of the application process and the online application.

Please note that the grants are only available to restaurants and non-home based caterers with DBPR, DH&R licenses (SEA23xxxxx, NOS23xxxxx, CAT23xxxxx).

Nightclubs, bars, mobile food trucks, as well as chains, franchise restaurants, or hotel restaurants owned by hotels are ineligible, as are home-based businesses of any kind.

There are also revenue and employee maximums to ensure the grants go to those businesses with the most need for the capital. Those criteria are:

  • Restaurants or non-home-based caterers located in Miami-Dade County with a maximum of 50 employees and annual revenue does not exceed $10M
  • Restaurants or non-home-based caterers located in Miami-Dade County with a maximum of 75 employees and annual revenue does not exceed $15M
